Years in Patent Practice
I am currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at New York Law School where I am a Dean's Scholar Award recipient, Law Review member, and multiple-semester Dean's List honoree. Before law school, I earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University and worked as a Verification Engineer in semiconductor development.
Researched legal authority for pre-trial motions in limine and ANDA patent infringement for the IP Litigation practice group, reviewed case law and briefs on Sixth Amendment ineffective counsel issues for an appeal, and drafted pre-trial claim construction analysis of the parties' briefs and Markman Hearing transcripts.
Managed patent portfolios and docket deadlines, drafted patent applications (claims, figures, and specifications), conducted invention disclosure interviews with engineers and scientists, and advised on domestic and international filing strategy.
Verified network interface SoC subblocks, built UVM testbenches for RTL validation, developed code and functional coverage plans for corner-case stimuli, and improved regression compile/run efficiency through testbench methodology design.
GPA: 3.99. Honors include Dean's Scholar Award, Law Review Member, and Dean's List with High Honors each semester.
GPA: 3.38. Dean's List (Fall 2017, Spring 2018). Coursework included microcontrollers, computer architecture, computer networks, embedded systems, digital VLSI design, and signals and information.
Open to legal and technical opportunities in intellectual property.
